Of the first things that called my attention on the first time I came to Germany, was the architecture of the new buildings. In Berlin, Potsdamer Platz of course, the embassies area and the building of the CDU (the right wing party in Germany).
In Köln some buildings in the a Media center; in Stuttgart some buildings of offices and what soon will be the BMW museum. I did not get to see the Mercedes Benz Museum however. On the other hand, the building of the Staatsgalerie is bit ugly.
Here in Hamburg is not different. Just as the Dockland Building, there are loads of modern buildings with interesting architecture. One of this series of buildings are the ones located in the S-Bahn (or regional trains) station, Berliner Tor. The translation is "The Berlin Gate", as it refers to an old station from where all the trains to Berlin used to leave.
In the photos above, you can see this buildings. In some of them you can find the German offices of IBM and AOL.
