One of the most representative buildings of Hamburg, if not the most, is "Der Michel" (St. Michaelis Kirche). The church of St. Michael, I guess, in English. You can catch a glimpse of the church' tower in the two first photos. However, I will refer to it later, in another post.
Today I want to write about the 2 euro coins that were issued just recently in Germany with the image of the "Der Michel". We are collecting the special 2 euro coins (only when they get to our hands by pure luck) of Europe. We already have a pair from the Quixote from Spain, the Treaty of Rome and some of the Lubeck Tor (you can see 4 of them in the photo above).
So, my wife was really happy when she got, by pure luck, of one the "Der Michel" coins. It is really nice as you can see above.
