Some days ago we were walking in downtown Hamburg on our way home. We noticed that the courtyard of the Rathaus (City Hall), was open. We went inside and we noticed it how beautiful it is. It has wonderful balconies and windows, and a nice fountain as well.
We were lucky as we were the only ones in the courtyard of the Hamburg Rathaus and the sky was specially nice for taking photos. As I mentioned in a previous posts, looks like the Hamburg Rathaus has more rooms than the Buckingham Palace, and it has open doors each day, with tours in German, English and French.
We are planning to go soon, before the tourists come to Hamburg in summer.I took several photos of the figures in the fountain, but I did not manage to get a sharp photo. It is a bit difficult, as the texture of the statues is very difficult to focus. But I did like this photo here:
