Jugendstil in Hamburg or Art nouveau

The Stella Haus in Hamburg, Germany, might be one example of Art Nouveau buildings in the city
The examples of Art Nouveau or Jugendstill in Hamburg are not so obvious as in Prague or Brussels, but you there are all over the city
Don't forget almost all of Hamburg was destroyed during the second world war, few Art Nouveau buildings survived and most of them are reconstructions
I am not going to deny it. I am a fan of Art Nouveau. I lived in Barcelona for more than 4 years and walking through the Eixample during sundays, when everything was almost empty, was one of my hobbies. Here in Hamburg, as you have seen in previous posts, my eyes are always looking for Art Nouveau or Jugendstil architecture, paintings, furniture, etc.

But as I mentioned above, it is not as easy as in Barcelona or Brussels or Prague to find this kind of architecture. You really have to look for it or pay attention to details and use your imagination.
